Meet Dr. Nicole Weinstein
Dr. Nicole loves learning + sharing that learning... and so it was either return to academia (where she taught for over 15 years) or create a website!
For years, former students told her they were still using her course materials long after graduation. birdbrain is those notes, grown up, plus the support she wished every new clinician had.
Simplifying challenging concepts and empowering learners are her passions. Dr. Nicole also started a small diagnostic laboratory (coming soon!), after transitioning from a corporate lab.
When her eyes go crossed from too much birdbrain screentime, you can find her walking a dog or baking (& promptly eating) something sweet.
Why "birdbrain"?
As a pathology resident, Dr. Nicole never wanted to leave the nest. Her mentor was her "mama bird," the one who looked over every case. They've called each other mama bird and baby bird for 20+ years. birdbrain is that same feeling for you: someone in your corner who checks your thinking, with zero judgement or gatekeeping.
